Requiem Mass Held Mon. For Joe Ruzicka Joe Ruzicka, 62, of Route 1, West, died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday in a Hillsboro hospital. Rosary was recited at 8:30 p.m. Sunday in Aderhold Chapel in West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 3 p.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Gerald Smith as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Ruzicka was a native of Hill County and a resident of West for 40 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Mr. Ruzicka married Johnnie Kuykendall in 1928. Survivors include his wife; two sons, M.L. Adamson of West and John Ruzicka of Norman, Oklahoma; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Foitek of Brumssum, Netherlands; two brothers, Leo Ruzicka of Pep and Frank Ruzicka of Sugar Land; four sisters, Mrs. John Polansky of West, Mrs. Vaclav Smajstrla, Mrs. Otto Pustejovsky, and Mrs. Vinc Urbanovsky, all of Abbott; and 12 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Joe Mynarcik, Jr., Adolph Pustejovsky, Johnny Pustejovsky, Felix Matus, Charlie Matus and Frank Foitek.
