Mrs. Hattie E. Lednicky, age 90, of 300 Haven in West passed away October 26, 1994 in West Rest Haven. Rosary was recited by Rev. Melvin Dornak, last Thursday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Lednicky was born February 221, 1904 in West and had lived in the West area all of her life. She was the daughter of Latium and Josefina Urbanovsky. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Daughters of America, Court #829 of West. She was one of the co-founders and co-owners of the Village Bakery in West in 1957. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Beavers, who died December 30, 1991. Survivors include one son, Eugene Lednicky of Tennessee; two daughters, Virginia Webb of Georgetown and Delores Kern of West; one sister, Vlasta Makovy of Lubbock; one brother, Henry Urbanovsky of West; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Active Pallbearers were Kent Webb, Charles Kern, Steve Webb, Richard Urbanovsky, Larry Urbanovsky and Robert Lednicky. Kotch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
