Virginia Marie Webb, Lednicky, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted Catholic, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on December 10, 1943, in West, Texas, Virginia was the daughter of Hattie Eleanor Urbanovsky and Edward Lednicky. Despite losing her father at a young age, Virginia found strength and joy in her close-knit family. Alongside her siblings, Gene Lednicky, Barbara Beavers, and Delores Vrana. She embraced a childhood filled with love, tradition, and the aroma of freshly baked pastries from her mother's cherished Village Bakery, the 1st Czech Bakery in West, Texas. On September 8, 1962, Virginia married the love of her life, Jimmy Curtis Webb. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with devotion and laughter, raising two sons, Steven (married to Theresa) and Kent (married to Stephanie). Virginia's greatest joy was her family, especially her five beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life. A devout Catholic, Virginia was a faithful member of St. Helen Catholic Church, where she found solace, strength, and a deep connection to her faith. Her dedication to her spiritual life guided her every action and inspired those around her. A dedicated homemaker with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Virginia became a trusted Avon representative for 42 years, forming meaningful relationships with countless customers. Her dedication and warm smile made her a beloved figure in her community. A proud member of the KJZT Czech Organization, she celebrated her heritage and contributed to preserving Czech traditions for future generations. Virginia's kindness, grace, and unwavering love touched everyone she met. Her legacy of faith, strength, and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Jimmy Curtis Webb; her sons Steven and Kent, daughters-in-law Theresa and Stephanie; her treasured grandchildren: Sarah, Kevin, Kyle, Joseph, and Jordan; and her loving sister Delores. A funeral service was at 1:30 p.m. February 14 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown, Texas. Virginia was born on December 10, 1943 in West, Texas, to Hattie Lednicky and Edward Lednicky. She had many happy memori3es of the Village Bakery where she worked during high school with her mother, who was one of the owners. Virginia graduated from West High School and married the love of her life, Jimmy Webb, and they built a beautiful life, raising two sons, Steve (married to Theresa) and Kent (married to Stephanie). Her greatest joy was her family, especially her five grandchildren, Sarah, Kevin, Kyle, Joey and Jordan. Virginia sold Avon for 42 years while forming meaningful relationships with countless customers. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jimmy of 62 years, her two sons, Steve and Kent plus their wives, Theresa and Stephanie, and five grandchildren, and sister Dolores Vrana. Her deceased brother was Gene Lednicky and sister Barbara Beavers. Virginia was a faithful member of St. Helen Catholic Church and member of KJZT.
