Edward Lednicky Buried Sunday Funeral services for Edward Lednicky, age 55, were held at the Church of the Assumption Sunday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Father E.J. Polcak officiated at the services. Mr. Lednicky died at the Veterans Hospital in Marlin last Friday at 12:50 p.m. Rosary services were recited at the Connally Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday evening at 8 p.m. Survivors are his wife; one son, Eugene of West; three daughters, Barbara, Virginia and Dolores of West; two brothers, George and Emil of West; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Poncik and Mrs. Olga Hundley of West. Active pallbearers were Alphonse Berger, Louis Gajdosik, Harry Lichnovsky, Harry Zahirniak, Adolph Havel and Pete Sykora. Honorary pallbearers were members of the American Legion Boyd-Sykora-Karlik Post 478 of West. Military honors were extended by the local American Legion Post. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of the Connally Funeral Home of West.
