Mrs. Albina Eva Kabella, age 90, of Temple (formerly of West) passed away at Scott and White Hospital November 2, 1990. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday, November 4 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple with Msgr. Arthur Michalka and Father Charlie Davis officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in West. Mrs. Kabella was born December 24, 1899 in West. She was the daughter of Anton and JoAnna Makovy Slovak. She married Henry Louis Kabella May 15, 1917. She assisted her husband in the founding of Kabella Plumbing Co. in Temple and was active in the business for many years. Mrs. Kabella was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple. She also was a member of the Altar Society, Monsignor Patrick O'Reilly Court of Catholic Daughters, and was a member of K.J.Z.T. Lodge #97 in Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Louis Kabella in September of 1987, one son, Johnny Kabella in 1975 and one granddaughter, Nancy Jordon in 1980. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Alice) Lenart of Temple; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Florence (Winks) Kabella of Dallas; two sisters, Jannie Slovak of Hunnington Beach, Cal. and Lillian Chada of Redondo Beach, Cal.; four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
