Bio

TEMPLE - Henry L. Kabella, 87, of Temple died Sept. 11, 1987 at a Temple hospital. Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple, Monsignor Arthur Michalka officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sept. 13, 1987 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple, the Rev. Harry Bilski officiated. Mr. Kabella was a charter member and fourth-degree member of Council No. 3444 of the Knights of Columbus. He also was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple, the Temple Lions Club, SPJST Lodge No. 24 and Chapter No. BPOE. He founded Kabella Plumbing Co. in Temple more than 50 years ago, and retired in 1965. He married Albina Eva Slovak on May 15, 1917. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Alice) Lenart of Temple; a sister, Mrs. Wilfred McDonald of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
