Bio

Mrs. Willie (Mary) Hutyra, age 84, of West, died September 16, 1987 at West Rest Haven. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian burial was at 11 a.m. Sept. 18 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, Msgr. Ray Widacki as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Hutyra was born January 6, 1903 in McLennan County. She lived in West most of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was married to Willie Hutyra in November 1924; he died in August, 1968. Survivors include three sons, William Hutyra and Johnnie Hutyra, both of West, and Freddie Hutyra of Waco; four brothers, Jim Nors and Daniel Nors, both of Abbott, Louis Nors of West and Pete Nors of Mount Calm; a sister, Agnes Janek of Mount Calm; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Johnny Ray Hutyra, Michael Hutyra, Jerry Girard, David Hutyra, Bobby Ray Bekkelund and David Stewart.
