Mrs. Theresa Karlik, age 77, of 417 Playdium Dr. in West passed away Monday, Sept. 26 at Providence Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, the Rev. B.J. Zientek as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Karlik was born Aug. 30, 1906, in McLennan County near West and had lived in the area all her life. She was a housewife and an employee of the Village Bakery for a number of years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, the Catholic Daughters and R.S.V.P. and the KJZT No. 11. She also worked as a volunteer at West Rest Haven before her illness. She married Will Karlik Nov. 10, 1925, in West. He died Jan. 22, 1973. She is survived by one son, Louis R. Karlik of St. John's Newfoundland, Canada; four daughters, Mrs. Joe F. (Lillian) Machovsky of West, Mrs. Jack W. (Marie) Griffin of Whitney, Mrs. Clarence (Tracy) Metcalf of Porterville, California, Mrs. Billy R. (Cecilia) Helpert of Waco; five brothers, Frank J. Nors of West, Jim Nors of Abbott, Daniel Nors of Abbott, Louis Nors of West and Pete Nors of Mt. Calm; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hutyra of West and Mrs. Sidney (Agnes) Janek of Mt. Calm; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Michael Hejl, John F.
