Requiem Mass Celebrated For Frank L. Holacka Frank L. Holacka, 74, was dead on arrival at a local hospital Friday. He died apparently from a heart attack. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral Chapel. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Walter Matus and Rev. Earl Hedberg as celebrants. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Holacka was born near West and had lived all his life in the West area. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, West Knights of Columbus Council 2305 and the SPJST Lodge No. 54. On Nov. 17, 1920, he married Miss Julia Hilscher at Moravia. The couple celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1970. Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. A.C. (Margie) Haberl of West, Mrs. James (Barbara) Snelson of Abilene and Mrs. Henry (Dolores) Tobola of Grand Prairie; two brothers, John Holacka of Penelope and Jim Holacka of West; five sisters, Mrs. Julia Cernosek of Hubbard, Mrs. Annie Barton of Waco, Mrs. Hattie Bezdek, Mrs. Mary Sulak and Mrs. Albina Svrcek, all of West; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers were George Sulak, Ernest Bezdek, Albert Barton, Jimmie Holacka, Ed Sykora, Ed Cernosek.
