Marriage license issued to Antone (sic) Pavelka of Spring Ranche (sic) and Emily Gruntored (sic) of Overton, Nebraska. ∼ The Elmcreek Beacon (Elm Creek, NE), Friday, April 16, 1920; pg. 4 A wedding occurred at the church of the Immaculate Conception Tuesday morning, Rev. Father Sullivan uniting in marriage Anton Ravelka (sic) of Spring Ranch and Miss Emily Gruntorad of Overton. The couple, with James and Marie Gruntorad, who witnessed the ceremony, took the train for Kearney where they spent the day, returning to Overton for a few days visit before going to their home at Spring Ranch. ∼ The Hastings Daily Tribune (Hastings, NE), Friday, August 16, 1963; pg. 11 Anton Pavelka Services Monday DEWEESE (TNS) - Anton Pavelka, 68, of Deweese died Friday in Omaha at the age of 68 years. A native of Clay county (sic), he was a lifelong resident of the community, following a farming career. Requiem Mass will be Monday at 9 o'clock in St. Martin's Catholic Church of Deweese with Father Frank Lieblinger as celebrant and burial will be in St. Martin's cemetery (sic). The McLaughlin Funeral Home in charge. Pavelka is survived by his wife Emile: sons and a daughter, Albert Pavelka of Lincoln, Dr. Donald Pavelka and Edwin Pavelka and Mrs. Agnes Hesman, all of Omaha. ∼ The Fairfield Auxiliary (Fairfield, NE), Thursday, August 29, 1963; pg. 1 Obituary, Pavelka - Anton Pavelka, son of Severyn and Mary Pavelka, was born January 12, 1895, and passed away Aug. 16, 1963 lat the age of 69 years, 7 months and 4 days. A native of Clay county, he was a lifelong resident of the community, following a farming career. On April 13, 1920, he was married to Emily Gruntorad of Overton. To this union 3 sons were born, Albert of Lincoln, Donald J. and Edwin Jr. of Omaha; 1 daughter, Agnes Hesman, of Pauline. Requiem Mass was held at St. Martins Church Auf. (sic)19 with Father Frank Lieblinger as celebrant and burial at St. Martins Cemetery. Pall bearers were Alvin Pavelka, Ernest Pavelka, Irvin Mäzour, Edwin Gruntorad, Marion Gruntorad, Bernard Codr. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Joe of Lawrence, John and William of Glenvil; 1 sister, Mrs. Frank Ourara of Overton; and 11 grandchildren.
