The Elmcreek Beacon (Elm Creek, NE), Friday, April 17, 1925; pg. 1 KARMAZIN - GRUNTORAD On Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock Mr. John Karmazin to Miss Mary Gruntorad of Overton by the latter's pastor, the Rev. John J. Kavanagh, in the church (sic) of the Immaculate Conception. The witnesses were Mr. George Herbeck (sic), cousin of the groom and Miss Mary Vrana, cousin of the bride, both of Dewese (sic). After the marriage ceremony, Father Kavanagh celebrated the nuptial mass at which the married couple and their witnesses received Holy Communion.
