Anton Albert Schroeder, 83, of Lacy Lakeview passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at his residence. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in Waco with Father Angelo Bertini officiating. Burial will follow at Tours Cemetry. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Schroeder was born Jan. 18, 1921, to Martin and Agnes (Jupe) Schroeder of Tours, Texas. Anton worked for General Tire and Rubber Plant until he retired in the early 1980s. He was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in Waco. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Christine Roberts in 1977. Survivors include his wife Frances Schroeder of Lacy-Lakeview; daughter Betty Ryan of Lacy-Lakeview; sons Dwayne Lee Schroeder of Waco, Robert Charles Schroeder of Waco, Jimmy Lynn Schroeder of Elm Mott and Billy Schroeder of Lacy-Lakeview; sister, Angeline Schutz of Fort Worth; brother, Johnny Schroeder of California; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
