WEST - Ernestine Podsednik Janek, 64, of West died Thursday morning at a Waco hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, the Rev. Isidore Rozycki officiating. Burial will be at Presbyterian Cemetery near Penelope. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mrs. Janek was born Sept. 17, 1924 in Tours. She married W. B. (Ben) Janek in September 1969. She was a waitress and a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Frank A. Zotz of Irving, Robert Joe Janek of Eddy and Shellie Lee Brooks of Houston; a daughter, Shirley Uptmor of Route 2, West; a brother, Robert Podsednik of Leroy; four sisters, Josephine Matus of Robinson, Antonia Brooks and Rebecca Bray, both of Route 2, West, and Adeline Davis of Rockford, Ill.; and 12 grandchildren.
