Antonia (Toni) Brooks, age 71, of Route 2, West, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 16, 1991 in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Saturday in St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Tours, with Mass of Christian burial following, with Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in Laurel Land Funeral Home Chapel, Dallas. Burial followed in Laurel Land Cemetery, Dallas. Mrs. Brooks was born Nov. 7, 1919 in Tours and had lived in Dallas for 40 years before moving to West in 1978. She married J. Arthur Brooks, September 13, 1941. He preceded her in death August 31, 1983. Mrs. Brooks was a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Tours; she owned and operated Brooks Food Store in Dallas with her husband for 27 years, also A&A Beauty Salon in Dallas.
