Frank A. Zotz, age 73, of Salem, Virginia passed away April 7, 1992 at the V.A. Hospital in Salem, of lung cancer. He was a former resident of Tours. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. April 9. Funeral Services were at 2 p.m. April 10 at John M. Oak Funeral Home Chapel in Salem with Father James E. Parke of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church officiating. A Military Service followed in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke, Virginia. Mr. Zotz was born June 24, 1918. Survivors include: his wife, Mae Zotz of Salem, Virginia; son, Frank A. Zotz, Jr. of Irving; daughter, Shirley Zotz Uptmor of Tours; brother, John Zotz of Austin; sister, Agnes Zotz of Casterville, sister, Olga Zotz and Anna Burket of San Antonio; daughter-in-law, Lisa Zotz; son-in-law, Laurel Uptmor; grandchildren, Laura Uptmor Nemec, Dwayne Uptmor, Daniel Uptmor, Lynn Uptmor, Brent Zotz and Brandon Zotz; and great-grandson, Scott Allen Nemec.
