Bio

Alois F. Rauschhuber, Sr., of Tours died Tuesday afternoon in a Hillsboro hospital. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thurs. at the Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, the Rev. Frank Miller as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery in Tours. Mr. Rauschhuber was a native of Tours, where he had lived most of his life. He also had lived in Wichita Falls for 18 years. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours and of St. Martin's Society. He was a retired carpenter and farmer. Survivors include his wife, Louise Rauschhuber of Tours; six sons, Eddie Rauschhuber of San Antonio, Frank Rauschhuber of Magnolia, Raymond Rauschhuber of West, A.F. Rauschhuber, Jr. of Santa Clara, Calif., and John Rauschhuber and Patrick Rauschhuber, both of Rt. 2, West; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Thun and Mrs. Louise Bartosh, both of Rt. 2, West, and Mrs. Irene Brem of Lacy Lakeview; two brothers, J.A. Rauschhuber of Tours and Wm. Rauschhuber of Rt. 1, West; four sisters, Mrs. Regina Hennig of Route 2, West, Mrs. Emilie Glatter of West, Ida Rauschhuber of Tours and Sister Catherine of Siena of New Braunfels; 34 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons: Anthony Rauschhuber, Alvin Rauschhuber, Dwayne Rauschhuber, David Rauschhuber, Richard Rauschhuber, Danny Thun, Tommy Bartosh, and Ernie Laubert.
