(Obituary from newspaper) TRENTON--Mrs. Mary Theresa Nehring died Thursday at the El Dorado Manor in Trenton at the age of 93. She was born July 9, 1884 at Union Hill, Ill., the daughter of Karl and Elizabeth Haller. She came with her parents as a child to Bladen, Neb., and grew up there. She was married in 1905 to William Copley and he died in 1920. She and her five children came to a farm southwest of Culbertson in 1922 and she was married Nov. 28, 1934 to Otto H. Nehring who also has preceded her in death along with her parents and three sons, Earl, Louis and Grover Copley. Her life has been spent in the Culbertson community. She was a member of St. James Parish in Trenton and the Culbertson VFW auxiliary. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Mary Moore, McCook; one son, William J. Copley of Marsing, Idaho; one step-daughter, Mrs. Alvina Kogl of Herndon, Kan.; 16 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. this evening in the Herrmann Funeral Chapel at Trenton. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 24) at St. James Church in Trenton with the Rev. Ernie Sloup officating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery at Herndon with the Herrmann Funeral Home of Trenton directing.
