Bio
Virginia Meyers was born 8 November 1876 in Walker County, Georgia, USA. She was 6th of the twelve children born to Andrew Jackson Meyers (1843-1908) and Caroline Sophrona Phillips Meyers (1848-1903). Siblings: Henry James Meyers (1866-1904), Louisa Hazeltine [Meyers] Burk (1868-1926), William E. Meyers (1870-1887), Juliet Ada [Meyers] Poole (1873-1910), Ottis Clinton Meyers (1875-1928), Lorenzo Madison Meyers (1878-1937), Jesse Lee Meyers (1880-1923), Nora Mary [Meyers] Walden (1882-1965), George P. Meyers (1884-1947) Freddie Meyers (1886-1887), and Homer Meyers (1889-1911). The family lived on a farm near Lookout Mountain on the Georgia/Tennesse border. Her parents had their first experience with losing one of their children when Virginia passed away on 13 May 1878 in Walker County, Georgia. She was only 18 months old. Virginia was laid to rest in the Coulter Memorial Cemetery in Cassandra, Walker, Georgia.
