Bio
Birth in 1860 census of Tama County Iowa - shows her birth as 1856. Death records shows birth as 16 Jan 1857. After Joe died, she lived on the farm with her daughter Agnes and husband Anton Svoboda. Then moved to Shiner where she passed away in 1931. Birth of Antonie is given in 1900 Gonzales census an Jan 1860. Mother of 12, with 11 living at that time. She went by Tena, Tinnie or Tonka. A very sweet person and always neat and tidy. She raised a big garden and had many fruit trees. She moved to Texas at age 29 and spoke good english because she worked among the Americans in Iowa. She had 3 sets of twins - Agnes and Jim, Albina and August and Edward and Elizabeth. *Death certificate; cause of death Hemiplegia Was a widow at her death. Informant: Charles ERMIS, Shiner, Tx Rt 2
