Note: James Given name was Vincenz Mathew HOLUB His name was changed to James and he added another L. to his last name Hollub. Father's name was spelled with one L. Records show his birth as 2 July 1861 Birth record found 1900 Lavaca Census Marriage Lavaca County, Vol C. page 492, Priest J. A. Forest Vincent farmed the Holub property in Moravia, Tx At his death a minister of the Czech Brethren Church performed the ceremony Death certificate: Cause of death Cornary Thombois, (heart attack) due to Cordio-Renal disease. Informant: Jame Hollub Rt 5 Schulenburg Lived with James at his death, In Lavaca County (not Fayette) James E. Hollub, 80, father of Dr. Charles E. Hollub, Czechoslovakian consul at Houston, died at his home at Moravia Wednesday. Funeral services were set for Thursday at 2 p.m. from the family residence. Surviving are the widow; three daughters, Mrs. William Hajek and Mrs. August Pustejovsky of Schulenburg and Mrs. Anton Pustejovsky of Moulton, and four sons, James Hollub of Moravia, Ed.
