Bio

Funeral services for Cecilia Toni Targac, 96, of Palacios, were held Nov. 24, 1997 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with the Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment was at the Palacios Cemetery. Mrs. Targac was born Dec. 1, 1900 in Shiner to the late Joseph and Antonia Holub Ermis. She died Nov. 21, 1997 at Memorial Medical Center in Port Lavaca. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and a resident of Palacios since the early 1940s. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Targac, seven sisters, and four brothers.. Palacios Beacon, November 26, 1997 Mrs. Targac took care of providing flowers for St. Anthony's Catholic Church as well as fulfilling other needs of the parish.
