The Alton Iowa Democrat - Thursday, July 25, 1967 Mrs. G. Kuiper Mrs. Gertie Kuiper, age 81, passed away Thursday at the Cherokee Hospital where whe had been a patient for 22 months. Funeral services were held Monday from the Signey Boogerd home and 1:30 p.m. from the First Reformed Church in charge of Rev. Nicholas Rozeboom. Grandsons were pallbeareers. Surviving are three sons and three daughters: Josei (Mrs. Sidney Boogerd, Richrad, William, and Isaac Kuiper, all of Hull, Hild (Mrs. Gerrit Hulstein) of Sheldon, and Agnes (Mrs. Dick De Vries) of Sanbornl 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers; Mrs. Agnes Rypkema of George, Mrs. Minnie Visser, Mrs. Johanne Keole, Nick, william and Ben Vener Kooi all of Hull. A daughteer, Hilda, died at the age of 5 years in 1910 and her husband, Gerrit Kuyper, died in 1944.
