Bio

Nannie Pearl Potts Jaynes lived in Valley Mills most of her life being born in Brazos county near Millican,Texas 02/06/1881.moving with her parents to Valley Mills 1882. She lived to be 103 and died in 06/21/1984 in a Valley Mills care center. Nannie married Wad 12//03/1902 in Searsville by Rev.. Sparkman,with witnesses Fannie Potts,Emma Neeley, George Price, and Cloud Odle. With this union they had 8 children.Thelma, Charlie, Edith, twins Carl and Bill,Altarita,Neil Carmon,and Potts Randolph. Nannie was a member of Patton Baptist church. Services were held at First Baptist Church in Valley Mills.
