Bio

Carl and his brother, W. A. Jaynes "Bill" (26224114) were twins. Carl at age 87, of Valley Mills died, Thursday Jan 28,1999 in a local nursing home. Mr. JAYNES was born April 24,1911, in Patton Community.. He was son of Wad Charlie and Nannie Potts JAYNES. He was a member of the FirstBaptist Church and was married to L.Z. Cole May 18,1935. Mr. JAYNES retired from Owens -Illinois Glass Plant in 1972 after 32 years employment. He and his wife owned and managed JAYNES Department store in Valley Mills.
