Mrs. Anna Marie Mauer, 82 of Topeka died Saturday, Sept. 8, 1990 at a Topeka nursing home. She was born Nov. 13, 1907 in Topeka, the daughter of John G. and Margaret M. Jacobs Hafner. She was a lifelong resident of Topeka. Mrs. Mauer was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Catholic Church and the Altar Society at the church, Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle No. 503 and the Moose Lodge No. 555, all in Topeka. She was married to George C. Mauer on Jan. 20, 1936 in Topeka. He died July 31, 1978. Survivors include a brother, Raymond Hafner, Topeka; four sisters, Ruth Gartner, Margaret Mauer, Helen Dechand and Marcella Hartlein, all of Topeka. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Mauer will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Brennan Funeral Home, where rosaries will be recited by the Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle at 6 p.m. and the parish at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
