Bio
Georgia Ann Nekuza, 86, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in Ennis, Texas. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Georgia was born on March 22, 1934, in Ennis, Texas, to the late Frank John and Janie (Lanicek) Prachyl. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from St. John High School in 1952. On April 25, 1953, she married Raymond B. Nekuza and they made their home in Ennis. Georgia worked for over thirty years in customer service for Ennis Business Forms. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, KJZT, and Catholic Daughters. Georgia was an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed dancing, spending time with her family who were the joy of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Nekuza; children: Danny and Denise; grandchild, Chad; brothers, George and Lewis; and sisters: Helen, Janie, Emily, and Wilma. Survivors include her son, Paul Nekuza and his wife, Shelley; daughters, Sandra Dennie and her husband, Joel, and LaVerne Waldrop and her husband, Rick; grandchildren: Aaron Nekuza and his wife, Angie, Tyler Dennie, Rylee Nelson and her husband, Bret, and Caleb Nekuza; great-grandchildren: Grant Nekuza, Olivia Nekuza, and Dallas Ryan; a sister, Adele Meyer; and a host of extended family and friends.
