Angeline Anita Fajkus Banik, 87, of Crosby, passed away Friday, June 9, 2006. She was born June 29, 1918 in Flatonia, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Fritz Banik; parents Louis and Julia Fajkus; brothers Julius, Jim and Emil; and sister Tracie. Angeline moved to Crosby in 1945 and began her commitment to farming. She worked for Crosby ISD in the cafeteria for 35 years. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, gardening, flowers, cooking, dominoes but most of all making kolaches for the Sacred Heart Czech Fest. Angeline was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters and the KJZT. Serving as pallbearers will be, Scott Banik, Vance Banik Jr., Melvin Banik Jr., James Banik, Wesley Doskocil, Danny Fajkus, Scott Fajkus, and Alex Saphos. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 11, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a rosary commencing at 7:00 p.m. at Sterling-White Chapel in Highlands, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling-White Chapel, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road, Highlands, Texas. The Baytown Sun June 11, 2006
