Bio

Sophronia Higgins was born on 15 August 1853 in Bethany, Missouri, the daughter of Adrian Anglin Higgins (1815-1884) and his second wife, Mary Ellen Walden Higgins (1827-1907). She was first married to the twice-widowed George Washington Brooks (1836-1898) on 21 July 1881 in Custer County, Nebraska. She was widowed in 1898. She was then married to the widower John Cayton Predmore (1834-1909) on 27 June 1903 in McPherson County, Nebraska. She was widowed again in 1909. She later relocated to Wyoming. She died on 15 January 1947 in Casper, WY at the age of 93. She was interred at Fairview Cemetery, Dawson County, Nebraska.
