She united with the church in 1894, baptized by Isaac Hogaboom in Custer County, Nebraska. She removed to Dow City, Iowa. Stebbins. Source: The Saints' Herald - volume 60 (1913) Lamoni, Iowa, p. 1138 [The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints] 2.) Mary's daughter Amyett Roy lived in Iowa Institution for Feeble-Minded Children, Glenwood, Iowa, at least 1910 to 1950. (It appears that Amyett didn't pass away until after 1966.) Roy was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1894 at Custer County, Nebraska, by Isaac Hogaboom. She later resided at Dow City, Iowa. Being blind and having no one to care for her, she entered the Saint's Home at Lamoni, Decatur, Iowa, in 1907. 3. Note by Lori Mentzel (volunteer #47697950): The 1910 census and death record, both while Mary lived at the Old Folks Home, were consistent in saying born December 1841. The 1900 census said born December 1845. The 1860-80 censuses are saying born December 1848-50. First, she gave birth to daughters in 1890 and 1894, so couldn't have been too old. Second, she named Mary Walden as mother. Mary Jane's father was married first to Jane Drake, then he married Mary Ellen Walden in March 1848, Coles Co., IL. While sources late in life say that she was born December 1841, the 1850 census shows Mary as age 2 years old.
