Bio

Alfred Anglin Higgins was born 20 February 1870 in Harrison County, Missouri, the last of eleven children of Adrian Anglin Higgins (1815-1884) and Mary Ellen Walden Higgins (1827-1907). He was married to Effie Place [Graham] (1868-1945) on 28 January 1895 in Lincoln, Nebraska. They divorced prior to 1899. They had one son, Hubert Alfred Higgins (1895-1985), who was raised by his mother and stepfather. He worked in building construction. Between 1900 and 1930 his whereabouts are uncertain. He lived in Minneapolis, MN from 1930 to the time of his death. He died on 21 March 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the age of 76.
