Funeral services were Jan. 16, 2007 at 10:30a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelby. Internment was in the Shelby Sacred Heart Cemetery. Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg was in Charge of arrangements. Born Mar. 4, 1909 to John and Theophillia "Millie" (Novak) Kubicek on a farm near Valparaiso, Nebraska. Marriage to Leo H. Glatter on May 3, 1939 at St. Andrews Parish northwest of Shelby. Leo died in May of 1978. On Oct. 28, 1988, Mary married Paul Dobias at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husbands Leo Glatter and Paul Dobias; twin granddaughters, Sarah and Casey Glatter; one sister Helen Alt; six brothers, John Kubicek, Charlie Kubicek, Emil Kubicek, William Kubicek, Joe Kubicek, and Alouis Kubicek. Daughter of John & Millie (Novak) Kubicek. Married to: 1. Leo H. Glatter on 5-3-1939 at St. Andrews Church near Shelby, NE. 2. Paul Dobias on 10-28-1988 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Shelby, NE. Mary is buried next to her first husband Leo H. Glatter in the Sacred Heart Cemetery section of Graceland Cemetery.
