Tuesday May 2, 1978 The Columbus Telegram Columbus, NE GLATTER-Shelby farmer Leo H. Glatter, 70 , died Tuesday in Butler County Hospital in David City. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shelby, with Rev. John Zastrow in charge. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rosary service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kepner-Roberts Funeral Home, Osceola, where visitation begins Wednesday noon. Lifelong resident of Polk County, Mr. Glatter was born Dec. 25, 1907 near Shelby, son of William and Mary (Eller) Glatter. He married Mary R. Kubicek May 3, 1939 at Osceoal. Survivors include his wife; son, Gary of Shelby; daughter, Mrs. Gary (JoAnne) Bemis of Surprise; brother, Matt of Shelby; sisters, Mrs. Helen Kubicek of Shelby, Mrs. Sylvan (Margaret) Fox of East Point Ga.; four grandchildren. His parents, four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
