ANTON J. NOVAK, age 79 of Manvel, Texas passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Southeast Memorial Hospital Houston, Texas. Anton was born on July 8, 1936 in Fayetteville, Texas and was a resident of Manvel since 1973. Anton proudly served his country in the United States Army from. He spent many years working as a Welder and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manvel. Anton is preceded in death by his parents, John and Julie Novak; sister, Julie Dirba; brothers, John Novak Jr., Frank Novak and Edvin Novak; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Christian and Nathaniel Novak Anton is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patsy Novak; children, Pauline Waters (Treon Jr.), Anton Novak, DeAnna Wyckoff (David), William Novak (Shaunda), Daniel Novak (Nikki), James Novak (Amanda); sisters, Annie Stransky, Evelyn Waterloo, Theresa Todd, Toni Kramer, Mary Andel, Martha Matura, Adella Wadephul and Francis Marshall; brothers, Ludvick Novak, Tim Novak, and Joe Novak; grandchildren, Pete, Joshua, Jack III, Morgan, Emily, Darryl, Deandra, Derrik, Tiffany, Chance, Anton, Chloe, Kyler, Hayle, Khrissalyn, Nicholas, Tristan, Megan, Brooke, James Jr., Clayton and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Shane, Cheyenne, Mckensey, Dayson, Joshua Jr., Ziyah, Alyssa, Lucas, Leah, Waylon, Kaedyn, Neilia, Kayah, Nico, Noah, Nehemiah, Annaliese, and Arianna; along with numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a Rosary service to begin at 7:00 P.M.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 6502 CR 48 Manvel, Texas 77578. Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
