Herald Coaster, December 23, 1976: Funeral services for John W. Novak, 72, of Needville, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville, with Rev. Ludon Angelle officiating. Burial will be in Greenlan Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Julie Novak; daughters, Mrs. Julia Dirba of Freeport, Mrs. Theresa Todd of Lafayette, La., Mrs. Annie Stransky of Needville, and Mrs. Toni Kramer of Needville, Mrs. Evelyn Waterloo of Pasadena, Mrs. Mary Andel of Sugar Land, Mrs. Martha Matura of Houston, Della Novak of Stafford, Mrs. Frances Marshall of Alvin; sons, John of Port Lavaca, Ludvig of Needville, Frank of Houston, Anton of Manvel, Kim of Rosenberg, Joe of El Campo; sisters, Mrs. Annie Suehlak of Granger and Frances Dubec of Sealy; and 52 grandchildren.
