JAMES CALVIN NOVAK, age 38 of Manvel, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at his residence. James was born on January 7, 1980 in Port Lavaca, Texas and was a longtime resident of Manvel. He worked as a Machinist and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manvel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home with a Rosary service to begin at 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 18, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 6502 CR 48 Manvel, Texas 77578. Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
