Margaret Mary Sinkule, 83, of West, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Quality Care in Waco. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 30, at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow until 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, July 31, 2015, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Paul Hudson as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Margaret was born in Texas to the late Rudolph and Rose Marie (Macha) Grmela. She attended schools in Tokio, West, and Abbott. On April 11, 1955, she married Jerry A. Sinkule in West. Margaret worked for the West Cotton Mill, Harris Dry Goods, West Auction Barn Restaurant, and T.S.T.C. before retiring. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughter of America Court #829. Interests included gardening, canning, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Anton Sinkule, on November 12, 2006; a daughter, Bridget Sinkule; a son, Robert Sinkule; great-grandchildren, Cole J. and Teagan Rose Harrington; brothers, Henry and Joe Grmela; and sisters, Helen Girard and Lois McMillian. Survivors include sons, Jerry Sinkule, of West, Tim Sinkule and wife, Tammy, of China Spring, and Mark Sinkule and wife, Jackie, of West; daughter, Joni Pilgrim and husband, Larry, of Ross; grandchildren: Tennille Harwell and husband, Brad, Rachel Harrington and husband, Nick, Mark Sinkule Jr. and Brittney Shawver, Ryan Sinkule, Holly Sinkule and Joe Metzke, Chad Sinkule and fiancée, Sadie Evans, Cody Harris and Breana Russell, and Zeb Sinkule; great-grandchildren: Chase Harwell, Claire Harrington, Cade Harrington, Emery Harris and Hadley Sinkule; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
