Daughter of George Emerson Munn of Fairfield, Clay County, Nebraska and Cecile Flora Spencer of Mason City, Custer County, Nebraska. Wife of Leo Dean Henion; married on 29 January 1960. "Passed away peacefully on February 7, 2004 at her home surrounded by her family. Donna was born on December 14, 1934 in Ansley, Nebraska, the daughter of George E. and Cecile (Spencer) Munn. Donna married Leo D. Henion on January 29, 1960. She was a resident of the Kalamazoo area for over 35 years. Donna was the Resident Manager for Windsor Estates several years ago prior to her illness. She was a very caring person and treated everyone with respect and kindness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. "Her children were her blessings." She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Augusta. Donna is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her husband, Leo D., to whom she was married for forty-four years and their five children and spouses, Becky (Jimmy) Kennedy of Hale, Michigan, Rhonda (Andy) Colvin, Susan Tremblay, Sam Henion and Deana (Jason) Wertz all of Kalamazoo; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, George (Louise) Munn; two sisters, Georgina Miller and Bonnie Wilson, all of Nebraska; four sisters-in-law, Mary Rager, Dorothy (Cliff) Peterson, Delores Henion and Karen Henion; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 12648 East D Ave, Augusta, Father Mark Vyverman Celebrant. Private interment of cremains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice. The family would like to give special thanks to Penny, T.C., Diane, Christie and Joan for their exceptional care of Donna and for the kindness and support they extended to the family during her illness."
