Bio

Daughter of George Emerson Munn of Fairfield, Clay County, Nebraska and Cecile Flora Spencer of Mason City, Custer County, Nebraska. Twin sister of Bonnie B. Munn The obituary for Betty Lee Munn was published in the Ansley Herald on 03 January 1930. The obituary included this poem: The Golden Gates were open and Heaven's angels smiled. And with their tuneful harpstrings, welcomed the little child. They shouted "High and holy, a child hath entered in and safe from all temptation, a soul is sealed from sin." They led her through the Golden Streets, on to the King of Kings. And a glory fell upon her from the rustlings of her wings. The Savior smiled upon her as none on earth had smiled, and Heaven's great glory shone around the little earth-worn child. On earth they missed the little one. They sighed and wept and sighed and wondered if another such as theirs had ever died. Oh, had they seen through those high gates the welcome to her given, they never would have wished their child back from her home in Heaven.
