Herald Coaster, September 30, 2002: Funeral services for Annie Marie Kunz, 86, of Richmond will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Father Dan Warden will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be John Kovarcik, Lee Kovarcik, Troy Kunz, Steven Kunz, Thomas Kaminski, Stanley Kaminski, Jason Vacek and Gene Freudensprung. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., FM 2218 at Highway 59 in Rosenberg. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Annie was born Sept. 6, 1916 in Pleak to Frank Ernest and Amelia Poncik Ernst, and she passed away Sept. 28, 2002 in Richmond. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg and the K.J.Z.T. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Joe Kunz; grandchildren, Allen Christ Jr. and Bonnie Lee Vacek; sons-in-law, Stanley W. Kaminski and Raymond Vacek Jr.; parents Frank and Amelia Ernest; and her brothers, Joe, Alvin and Edward Ernest. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Kaminski of Fairchild, Bernice Kopycinski and her husband, Billy, of Pleak, Pat Wafer and her husband, Bruce, of Pleak, Nancy Christ and her husband, Allen, of Rosenberg and Bobby Hargus and her husband, Robert, of Fairchild; her son, Ronald Kunz and his wife, Linda, of Pleak; grandchildren, Stanley and Sharon Kaminski, Elizabeth and Virgil Leus, Thomas Kaminski, Lee and Terry Kovarcik, Lynn and Gregory Mensik, Connie Jo Svoboda, John and Lynette Kovarcik, Troy and Cheryl Kunz, Steven Kunz, Robin and Chris McGuire, Theresa and Ronnie Tiemann, Gene and Lori Freudensprung, Jeanna and Shawn Valenta and Jason Vacek; 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
