Bio

Herald Coaster, May 25, 1975: Funeral services for Joseph Ernest, 55, of Rosenberg, a lifelong resident of Fort Bend County, were held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, with Rev. Bill Bartinski officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Friday in the Triska Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg. Mr. Ernest died suddenly Thursday night after having an apparent heart attack at his home. He was employed by the maintenance department of Lamar School District. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eleanor Ernest; three daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Kaminski, Mrs. Joyce Oberhoff, and Mrs. Barbara Preuss, all of Rosenberg; sister, Mrs. Annie Kunz; and brother, Edward Ernest, also of Rosenberg; and seven grandchildren.
