Louis Tomecek Louis Tomecek, 75, of Buffalo died in the Marlin Veteran's Hospital Sunday, Nov. 19. He was a former Granger resident and was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Tomecek of Buffalo, five sisters, Mrs. Joe Kocurek, Mrs. Joe Chasek [should read Chasak per Karen Tomecek] and Mrs. Francis [should read Frances] English, all of Granger, Mrs. John Kocurek of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Joe F. Kaderka of Bartlett. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Funeral Home in Teague with the Rev. Father Brown of Mexia officiating. Burial was at the Buffalo Cemetery.
