Mrs. Joe Kocurek, Sister of Leoal [sic] Resident Dies Mrs. Joe (Rosie) Kocurek Jr., 77, of Rt. 1, Granger, sister of local resident, died Tuesday in a Taylor hospital. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 9:45 a m. in Condra Funeral Home in Granger and at 10 a. m. at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church with Rev. George Tydlacka officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Kocurek was born in Williamson County and had lived in the area all her life. She was a member of the SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Joe Kocurek Jr., of Granger; a daughter, Mrs. Cyril Wolf of Granger; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jerry B. Gorubec of Granger; four sisters, Mrs. Frances English and Mrs. Joe B. Chasak of Granger, Mrs. Joe F. Kaderka of Bartlett, and Mrs. John Kocurek of Corpus Christi; two granddaughters and four grandsons. Source: The Bartlett Tribune, Aug. 29, 1974
