JULIE TOMECEK DIED Julie Tomecek died at the age of, 82 years, on November 11. She was our member for many years. Julie Tomecek, was a charter member of the St. Helen Society, No. 18, K.J.Z.T. in Granger. She was buried on the 13th of November, in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Granger, after the Holy Mass, which was offered by Rev. Msgr. John Vanicek, with the assistance of Rev. Jerome Vitek, Rev. Ig. Valenta and Re. Lad Klimicek. Besides her husband, Frank Tomecek Sr., she is survived by 4 sons and 5 daughters. Sons, Frank Jr., Anton, Joseph, and Alois; daughters, Frances English, Julie Kaderka, Annie Chasak, Rosie Kocurek and Marie Kocurek. The deceased member was awarded with the K.J.Z.T. Organization with a Merit Cross, for enrolling her daughters in the K.J.Z.T. Society, as a Model Mother, for bringing up her numerous family in the Spirit of Religion.
