The Columbus Daily Telegram November 1959 SILVER CREEK - Charles Siemek, 60, died early this morning in the Fullerton hospital where he was a patient the past week. He had been in failing health for several years. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Krakow with the Rev. Fr. Stephan Fleziak officiating and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rosary will be prayed at...the Fleming Funeral chapel where the body will lie in state... Mr. Siemek, a resident of Silver Creek the last few years, had farmed in the Krakow community about 35 years. The son of George and Katie Kula Siemek, he was born June 20, 1899 near Pilsno in Polk county. Surviving are one son, Dan of Silver Creek; one daughter, Mrs. Melvin Heinrich of Omaha; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Gembica of Central City, Mrs. Ed Zelasny of Clards, Mrs. Charles Stanczyk of Golden, Colo., and Mrs. Mary Koziol of Chicago; three brothers, Alois of Osceola, Steve of Silvr Creek and Levi of Clarks.
