The Columbus Daily Telegram, Columbus, Nebraska June 5, 1956 SILVER CREEK - Adolph F. Siemek, 53, died suddenly about noon Tuesday in the Osceola hospital. He had been ill the past three weeks. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church at Krakow with the Rev. Fr. Stephen Flisiak officiating Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rosary will be...at the Fleming Funeral home... Mr. Siemek, the son of George and Katie Kula Siemek, was born Oct. 22, 1902 near Pilsno in Polk county where he grew to manhood. He spent many years farming in the Krakow community and the past few years he had lived in Silver Creek. A veteran of World War II, he spent 17 months in the Army. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Mary Koziol of Chicago, Mrs. Helen Stanczyk of Golden, Colo., Mrs. Josephine Gembica of Central City, and Mrs. Clara Zelasney of Clarks, and four brothers, Charles of Silver Creek, Levi of Clarks, Alois and Steve of Osceola.
