Bio
Lillian Pavlu Padgett, 76, of Seguin, died suddenly of natural causes on Monday, June 2, 2003. Mrs. Padgett was born on May 12, 1927 in El Campo to the late Charlie and Adena Beal Pavlu. She was a longtime resident of Seguin where she taught at St. James Catholic School and worked for the Seguin Independent School District. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Pat Padgett; sons, Zachary Padgett, Zan Padgett and Patrick Padgett; daughter, Zoe Padgett Bedford; nine grandchildren; brothers, Leo Pavlu, Norbert Pavlu, Charlie Pavlu and Lawrence Pavlu; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services and interment were held on Thursday, June 5, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in El Campo. Arrangements are under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.
