Bio

Herald Coaster, June 2, 1986: Funeral services for Ervin Schonert, 75, of Rosenberg, were held Sunday at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Officiating the service was Dr. Howard Gates, with burial following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Mr. Schonert died Saturday at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Bellville. Survivors include his wife, Annie; four daughters, Bernice Petrosky of Guy, Lucille Scott of Fairchilds, Peggy Moelling of Wixley, and Earline Kucera of Needville; two sisters, Roxie Jacobe of Tyler and Henrietta Sebesta of Fairchilds; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made to the Parkinson Research or the American Cancer Society.
