Bio
Herald Coaster, March 28, 1977: Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Schonert, 90, of Needville, were held at 2 p.m. today from the First United Methodist Church in Needville, with the Rev. Bob Stewart officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Services were under the direction of Garmany & Co. Funeral Directors. Mrs. Schonert died Saturday in the SPJST Nursing Home. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Sebesta of Needville and Mrs. Roxie Jacobe of Tyler; three sons, Ervin Schonert of Rosenberg, Bennie Schonert of Bronson, and Henry Schonert of Needville; 22 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Needville.
