Herald Coaster, March 27, 2002: Funeral services for Henrietta Sebesta, 84, of Needville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, March 28, at the Needville United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Erskine Riveire will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin and Jason Kettler, Kyle and Andrea McCormick, Todd Sebesta, Patrick McGaughey, Arnold Kucera, and Bill Henderson. Mrs. Sebesta died Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond. She was born March 10, 1918 in Austin County. She was a lifelong member of Needville United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women's Group. She was a member of the Needville craft group as well, but her passion was starting and organizing the Needville Travel Group. She is survived by her daughters, Geraldine McCormick and her husband, John, of Needville, Jean Swartz and her husband, Dave, of Dickinson, and Rena Sebesta of Richmond; one son, Leon Sebesta and his wife, Marjorie, of Lake Jackson; grandchildren, Andrea McCormick, Kyle McCormick and his wife, Madelaine, Kevin Kettler and his wife, Jonna, Stacey Henderson and her husband, Bill, Jason Kettler and his wife, Michelle, Brandon Sebesta, Todd Sebesta and his wife, Carla, Stephanie McGaughey and her husband, Patrick; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Mitchell, Roman, Zachary, Makenna, Trevor, Garrett, Marshall, and Madison; one sister, Roxie Jacobe; and many other loving relatives. Her husband, Jerry W. Sebesta, preceded her in death, along with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Schonert, and her brothers, Monroe, Ervin, Bennie, and Henry Schonert. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Needville. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Needville United Methodist Church, 8606 Church St., Needville, Texas 77461.
