Andrew was born 28 November 1873 in Pogorski Wola, Poland, to Stanislaus and Catherine (Szawica) Zaucha. That birth date differs from what is on his tombstone and his obit. He immigrated with his parents but the family traditional story says his father died on the ship coming over. Andrew's two brothers were also on the ship, John and Joseph. Andrew married Catharine Czarnik on 11-28-1893 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Duncan, NE. ===== Note: The original spelling of the name in Poland is ZAUCHA but it may be seen as ZOUCHA, and ZAUHA which Andrew used. Obituary edited for length November 1951 Andrew Zaucha, son of Stanley and Catherine Zauha, was born on November 30, 1872 in Poland and departed this life after an illness of one year on his birthday November 30, 1951 at his home in St. Paul.
